TileHillKid.UK - Tanyard Farm

17thC Tanyard
Farm was at the end of Tile Hill Lane on the corner of Tanners Lane and Banner
Lane and was demolished in the 1970's.

The house was at the time owned by two elderly sisters, Alice and Annie BAUGHAM,
who had operated a milk round from the farm for more than50 years. The picture
was taken shortly after the sisters were attacked by three armed raiders who
ransacked the property in April 1972.
Since the 1980's the site has been developed with new housing and named the Tanyard Estate.
